It all started when a group of doctors from the San Bartolomé hospital evaluated that, being a national hospital, it had all the conditions to develop an adequate fissure program, but at that time they did not have the economic resources to set up such a project.
From there the idea of creating ASOCIACIÓN PERÚ PAÍS QUE SONRÍE was born, who started working together with the hospital San Bartolomé, managing to get help from national organizations such as Rotar and Club Camacho and international organizations such as Smile Train to give strength to this project, the hospital currently has one of the best programs for the care of cleft patients, and PERÚ PAÍS QUE SONRÍE continues to offer its services independently.
